Many athletes around the world expressed their anger after seeing the scenes of the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on the funeral procession of Al-Jazeera correspondent Shireen Abu Aqleh.

Israeli occupation forces assassinated Abu Aqleh, with a live bullet fired by an Israeli sniper, while she was covering the storming of Jenin in the occupied West Bank.

Algerian Journalist, presenter & commentator at BeIN sports, Hafeez Darraji, was the first to reject the scene of the Israeli occupation attacks on the funeral of the Al-Jazeera correspondent, saying: Israeli occupation doesn’t differentiate between a Muslim and a Christian as long as he is a Palestinian and He kills and displaces you, but he also disturbs you in burial ceremonies.

The former Egyptian football player, Muhammad Abu Trika, also expressed his anger, saying: Israeli occupation doesn’t care about the world, it carried out its crime and killed Shireen Abu Aqleh, and it attacks those who mourn her body, we aren’t lying when we say this Israeli occupation is the cancer of the world.

Former English football legend Gary Lineker said about the video of Israeli occupation attacks on Shireen Abu Akleh’s funeral: Good heavens. This is awful.
