The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) declared that the Israeli occupation prison administration transferred the Palestinian prisoner who has cancer, Nasser Abu Hamid, from Ramleh prison to Tel HaShomer Hospital.

The Palestinian Prisoner Society said in a brief press statement on Thursday, “Prisoner Nasir sticks from serious health complications after his health tumble once again,”

The last August, Abu Hamid was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour in his lungs and had undergone an operation to remove the tumour, but the Israeli occupation authorities returned him to prison before he recovered.

As Abu Hamid’s need for chemotherapy sessions began, the Israeli authorities deliberately put off his treatment.

The prisoner Abu Hamid, from the Al-Amari camp in Ramallah, was detained in 2002 by Israeli forces and is serving 7 life imprisonment sentences plus fifty years.
