Israeli occupation proves once again that their terrorism is beyond one religion!

After the repeated attacks on the Palestinians and the attempt to storm Al-Aqsa to practice the Jewish Passover, the Israelis proved that their terrorism does not revolve around the Islamic religion alone.

Today, “Good Saturday” is celebrated by Christians of the orthodox sect all over the world. occupation forces harassed Christians in the church of the holy sepulchre in Jerusalem during their celebration of the Holy Saturday, they attacked a Christian cleric in the old city and prevented him from reaching the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

White-skinned are allowed

The funny thing is that the occupation police asked Palestinian Christians to stand in one row, and foreign Christians in the second row. The priority of entering the church was determined.

The equation is that white-skinned Christians are allowed to be inside the church, but Palestinian Christians pose a danger just by their presence in Palestine.

The usurper occupation continues to prove daily that the issue was never religious, no matter how hard they try to promote that the Islamic religion is a terrorist, and no matter how much they try to show the West that they are with religious coexistence they will not be able to hide their racism towards everyone who does not look like them.

In an official letter to the occupation police, the churches of Jerusalem affirmed their rejection of any restrictions on the number of “Saturday of Light” celebrants inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, its square, its surroundings, its roof, or the entrances leading to it, stressing that it is not justified at all.
The head of the Christian National Assembly in the Holy Land, Dimitri Diliani, told the Palestinian “Safa” agency that this is a programmed policy followed by the occupation authorities against Christians, as is the same approach at Al-Aqsa Mosque, to obliterate the true Islamic-Christian identity of the city of Jerusalem.

He adds that “the occupation is restricting the natural divine right to freedom of worship, and it targets everything that is not Jewish, to reinforce a false Zionist narrative about the identity of the Holy City.”

He explains that these restrictions increase tension in Jerusalem, and any violent act resulting from them bears the entire responsibility of the occupying government alone, and we have declared that we do not recognize the legitimacy and jurisdiction of the Israeli courts over our holy places.

Despite the restrictions of the occupation, Diliani asserts, that we as Christians will break down barriers and exercise our natural right to worship within the most important churches in the world.

The Palestinian resistance condemns the occupation practices

A spokesman for the Islamic Jihad Movement – West Bank, Tariq Ezz El-Din, confirmed that the occupation forces continue to violate the Palestinian, Islamic, and Christian sanctities in the occupied city of Jerusalem, restrict Palestinian Christians and limit their freedom of movement and participation by erecting barriers and closing the doors leading to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem to celebrate Holy Saturday, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirmed that the occupation’s attack on the clergy and its decision to place restrictions on the “Holy Light Saturday” celebrations in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, it’s square and its surroundings, or the entrances leading to it come within the framework of “the systematic targeting of the holy places in the city of Jerusalem.”

The Front considered these restrictions “one of the chapters of the plans to Judaize the city of Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy sites,” noting that “the occupation, throughout its occupation, aggression, and targeting of the city of Jerusalem, did not differentiate between a Palestinian Christian or Muslim or Christian or Islamic holy sites, but rather the targeting of the general public.” Palestinian”.

She stressed that “the continuation of the pressing national and popular movement, especially the permanent gathering and sit-in in the courtyards and squares of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and other holy sites is enough to curb Zionist arrogance regarding freedom of worship.”

Not only did Israeli terrorism prevent worshipers from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and celebrating Easter, but they also closed the Christian neighborhoods in the old city and prevented the people from entering the church or exiting it.

In the end, the issue is not religious, and they are not the targets of Islam only, but everyone on the Palestinian lands is permissible to kill and torture. This is how the Israeli illusion was built on the blood of our ancestors, whether they were Christians or Islam, and so they will continue. Therefore, there is no solution to this usurping entity other than resistance until liberation.
