Will the second most horrible Holocaust in history take place against the Muslims of India?

The attention-grabbing title of this article is not meant to sensationalize or hyperbolize an otherwise normal or even quasi-normal situation. Quite the contrary,  It could be a realistic and timely prognostication of the end game of the fast- metastasizing Hindu fascism against the Muslims of India.

This highly toxic Hindu movement has been haunting hundreds of millions of Hindus, transfiguring them into racism walking on two legs.

True, the bulk of this massive populist movement comprises rabble people whose main qualifications are ignorance and fanaticism. However, at the leadership level, they have Ph. D. holders, University professors, and all sorts of highly educated people. At the helm of the countrywide movement stands the current Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi a man that can be caricatured as a human embodiment of racism, who inhales and exhales hatred,  bigotry, and chauvinism.  I am saying this lest ordinary people, especially in the West, be bamboozled by his ostensible humbleness and soft-spoken manners.

Crushing Pakistan was Modi’s unfulfilled Monomania

Modi’s erstwhile monomania was to subjugate and humiliate Pakistan on the battlefield as in the past. However. Thanks to Pakistan’s nuclear deterrent, an exasperated Modi retreated, swallowing his pride quietly and vowing to teach Pakistan a lesson when the first opportunity arises.

Having failed to “crush” Pakistan to smithereens as he had promised, Modi sought to vent his frustration and indignation by adopting a decidedly draconian agenda against a quarter of a billion Indian Muslims, whose “crime” is their refusal to worship the god Ram and a cacophony of other Hindu gods.

In any Western democracy, Modi’s venomously anti-Muslim agenda would be viewed as “fascist par excellence“‘  I am not suggesting that Indian towns will soon be transformed into Auschwitz, MauthausenDachau, Treblinka, and Bergen Belsen. However, let there be no doubt about the long-term ramifications and repercussions of the Tsunami-like Hindu fascism inundating India now.  the writing is on the wall. Only those willfully blind will not see the ominous dark clouds hovering over India.

Pseudo-democracy and graveyard for human rights and justice

Until a few years ago, India was often described by the international media as the world’s largest democracy. Now, however, an honest pundit wouldn’t flinch from describing present-day India, not only as the largest pseudo-democracy in the world but also as a real graveyard for human equality, human rights, justice, rule of law, and even a graveyard for human decency

I have no ill feelings whatsoever against India or the Hindu people. When I was young, the earlier post-independence forefathers of India, people like Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi, were amongst my most prominent political idols. And I do remember how I asked my students in college to memorize Gandi’s iconic words before and after the landmark Salt March.

Now, however, one cannot help being affronted by such later-time emulators of Hitler who inculcate their ignorant followers with the belief that dehumanizing and humiliating their fellow Muslim countrymen and women is the shortest way to salvation, prosperity, and national dignity.

I  believe this myopic and utterly ignominious discourse is cancer upon the conscience of Mahatma Gandhi and the entirety of India which gave the world great luminaries deserving eternal respect and glory.

Some apologists and naïve day-dreamers might argue that the situation is not really that bad. They would point out that democratic elections do take place there and that an independent Justice system is having oversight over the government and that there is still a free press watching the government and recording all wrongdoings and violations.

But democracy is not only about elections, otherwise, if a fools’ party won the polls, the fools would occupy the government seat and rule the masses! Democracy is also about justice and just laws, about a justice system that doesn’t discriminate against citizens because of their color, faith, gender and race. Democracy is also about human rights, equal rights for all, and human dignity and decency.  Predictably, all these essential elements are either conspicuously absent or scant and scarce.

So, How could citizens obtain human rights and civil rights, let alone personal security,  when their very homes, mosques, shops, and businesses, indeed their entire neighborhoods,  could be attacked at any moment and set on fire by mobs acting on an edict from an anonymous Guru who is in constant contact with the gods?  I am not talking about misdemeanours taking place in a distant galaxy. I know and most Indians know that these crimes take place in India on a daily basis thanks to the policy of leniency followed by the ruling fascist party toward its ignorant and fanatic followers. It is this diabolic policy that keeps a Muslim in a state of constant fear and anxiety, not knowing if he or she would return home at the end of the day.

Muslims in India face greater and deeper oppression than just demolishing the Ayodhya Mosque by Hindu mobs or baring female college students recently from attending classes while donning their head scarfs.

The Indian Muslims’ very existence and survival is an existential problem for Modi and his Nazi-like party. It is not that they just don’t agree with certain modalities or reject some disagreeable behavior here or there.  The truth of the matter is that they don’t want Muslims in India, period.

In the face of this unmitigated evilness, and unrelenting oppression, Indian Muslims must face this life-or-death situation with mental equanimity and strong faith in the justice of their cause. They must be sure of their ultimate triumph over the forces of darkness.

But being right alone is not enough,  for one has to be wise as well, and wisdom is always a believer’s monumental asset.

Remember also that not all Hindus are evil,  infected with the malignant disease of racism. Thus, it is your paramount duty to win as many honest and morally straight Hindus as possible over to your side.

This is not your battle alone. It is the battle of civility against savagery, humanity against barbarianism, and morality against depravity. It is a battle of good over evil.

None the less, everyone, friend and foe alike, must realize that you are not some expatriate community that can be bullied into leaving your motherland! Leaving to where?

Finally, I advise that the Muslims of India should count much in their strenuous struggle against any of these so-called Islamic kingdoms and Sheikhdoms which are only Muslim by name as we all know. In the final analysis, those who have no good for their own people, will not give succour to others. (end)
