According to ISLAM:

Islam didn’t leave a problem unless he puts a lot of solutions in the palm of your hand. The prophet Mohamed [SAW] did not receive the revelation from ALLAH [SWT] for six months. He didn’t see Jibril and thought that Allah [SWT] is not satisfied with him. Then Allah[SWT] said ‘WAD DUHAA’

“By the morning brightness”

So the first thing you tell someone who is depressed, wake up, see the sunlight, There’s a lovely sun out there, lovely light. ‘WAL LAILI IZA SAJAA’

“And [by] the night when it covers with darkness”

People who are depressed stay up at night, they go to sleep in the morning.

” Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muḥammad], nor has He detested [you]”

In the same way YA ABDULLAH, Allah doesn’t hate you, and Allah has not forgotten you.

” And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]”

what is coming is better than what you hade in life.

“And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied”

Allah will give us Jannah insha’Allah and make us happy, Allah has promised this and of a surety very soon we’ll go to Jannah insha’Allah. It’s the most beautiful thing to say to a person who feels bad in his heart. Then Allah[SWT] gives us reasons to believe this In the rest of the verses of Surah Al-Duha.

The more we contemplate, meditate, and discover and search for the gems in the Quran, the more our hearts will become opened to receive mercy, guidance, and spiritual love. Quran tells us how we supposed to act and live and behave. how we supposed to be.

we should believe that if we engage with Quran and ponder upon it, we can find solutions for all of life situations.

Allah said in the Quran:

“He said: I only complain of my grief and sorrow to Allah, and I know from Allah what you do not know “

Sometimes we are depressed in life or we don’t know where are going or what to do. And we can’t answer these questions properly.

So Yakub [PUH] says that he is in suffering and grief. But look at his solution. He says, ‘ I only complain of my grief and sorrow to Allah‘ That number one.

When we go to the next verse, He informs his sons to go and find out about Joseph and Binyamin(Yusuf’s brother). And look at what he states. He says “O my sons! Go and inquire respecting Yusuf and his brother, and despair not of Allah’s mercy; surely none despairs of Allah’s mercy except the unbelieving people.”

There are some lessons here:

  • He teaches us how to deal with grief and distress and depression because he was the only one in real distress and grief because he loved Joseph so much, he loved Binyamin so much, and he was distressed. But look what he does he complained to whom? to Allah.
  • Sincerely advise others of the mercy of Allah[SWT]. He told them about Allah’s mercy, His compassion, His love.

So keep on following the Quran, and if you feel depressed, rely on Allah, refer to Allah, depend on Allah, complain to Allah. Because He is the only one who can change the situation
